Yes, Samantha is roped into play Superstar Ajith Kumar’s jodi in Gowtam Menon’s next film. First it was Sameera Reddy that was considered to play this role but finally it is Samantha, who managed to sneak into.

Tollywood heroine and hottest sensation Samantha is playing female lead beside Ajith Kumar in Gautham Menon’s film. And now Samantha has more than one reason to thank director Gautham Menon. Firstly, its Gautham Menon’s film ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’, through which Samantha shot to fame. Later, Samantha is flooded with offers from several Telugu movies.

But back in Tamil, Samantha has two small budget films to be completed. These two films do not have any star casting and Samantha is desperately looking for a break in Kollywood industry. And here comes director Gautham Menon. It seems that Gautham Menon has roped in Samantha once again for a Tamil film to play the female lead with Superstar Ajith Kumar in Gautham Menon’s next film. In fact, roping in Samantha was purely an afterthought as initially, the makers thought Sameera Reddy.

Samantha to rule Tollywood?

Samantha is riding high on success with her debut film in Telugu, Ye Maaya Chesave. Even before the film's release, she grabbed the chance to play the second female lead opposite NTR in Brindavan.

Buzz is that she is playing one of the female leads opposite Mahesh Babu in his next film to be directed by Srinu Vaitla.
Samantha has also signed a Dil Raju project with Sidharth under debutant director Venu Sriram.
Looks like this cute babe is set to give some real competition to Illeana, Kajal and Anushka.
