Priyamani's career is really happening. Irrespective of hits and flops, she gets all the good offers right from Manirathnam to RGV. After bagging the pivotal role in Mani Ratnam's trilingual Ashokavanam/Raavan, she has landed Ram Gopal Varma's Raktha Charitra, another trilingual movie.
She would be playing the role of Gangula Bhanumati, wife of Maddelachervu Suri, being played by the Tamil star Suriya. Vivek Oberoi plays the role of Paritala Ravi and the Bengali actress Radhika Apte plays his wife. Priyamani who had acted with Suriya's brother Karthi in the much acclaimed Paruthiveeran is excited about this role. Made in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil, Raktha Charitra is a two-part film - the first of its kind in India - that is scheduled for release by the end of this year.
